Adjusting

This is the use of hands or adjusting tools help to mobilize joints, balance tight muscles and normalize the nervous system. It is done by using a fast light movement around the target joints in the spine and extremities. This helps increase function and decrease pain.

Muscle Release Techniques

This is a combination of manual pressure on the muscles combined with movements help tight muscles to release. Muscles and joints work together to create movement. When joints and muscles are both treated we often see faster relief of pain and increased function.

IASTM- Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Metal instruments are used to put pressure on soft tissues, including a layer of tissue that wraps around muscles (fascia) under the skin. When scar tissue (adhesions) develop from previous injuries or repetitive stress it can cause pain and dysfunction. This treatment helps treat the scare tissue and increase circulation to the area which promotes healing. This treatment often decrease pain sensitivity in the affected area.

Dynamic Cupping

Cups provide suction to the skin and are then moved in different directions to release tension in the tissues. This treatment is like IASTM in that it increases blood flow and stimulates healing.
